Cyber Essentials is an effective, Government backed minimum standard scheme that will help you to protect your organisation, whatever its size, against a whole range of the most common cyber attacks.

To get certified to Cyber Essentials Basic, you will need to complete a self-assessment questionnaire. This questionnaire will assess your organisation’s cybersecurity controls in five areas:

·       Firewalls and internet gateways

·       Access control

·       Malware protection

·       Patch management

·       Incident response

Once you have completed the questionnaire, you will need to submit it to a certification body. The certification body will review your questionnaire and, if successful, you will be awarded a Cyber Essentials certificate.
