Red teaming is a simulated attack or penetration testing method used to evaluate an organisation's security posture.   • Reconnaissance

    Conduct reconnaissance operations to gather information related to the target system under examination using various tools in order to understand the target's security architecture, policies, systems, device specifications, configurations, and limitations.

  • Staging

    After identifying vulnerabilities and creating an attack plan, the next step in an engagement is to implement the plan. This includes establishing and disguising the infrastructure and resources needed to launch the attacks. This may involve configuring servers for Command & Control (C2) and planning social engineering efforts.

  • Attack Delivery

    The attack delivery phase includes gaining access and establishing a foothold on the target network. Our ethical hackers may attempt to exploit vulnerabilities, use brute force to crack weak passwords, and create fake messages to launch phishing attacks and deliver malware.

  • Internal Compromise

    Once access is established on the target network, the next phase focuses on achieving the objective(s) of the Red Team operation. This may include actions such as moving laterally within the network, increasing access privileges, physically accessing the location, establishing command and control, and extracting data.

  • Reporting and Analysis

    After the engagement, a detailed report is provided to the client that helps both technical and non-technical staff understand the outcome of the exercise. The report includes an overview of the vulnerabilities found, the methods used to exploit them, and any risks identified. It also includes suggestions on how to mitigate and reduce those risks.
